The grill Guard is a solid beast! Very well made. The brackets need to be more vehicle specific. I spent about 4 hours grinding & tuning the top brackets to get the grill installed. Except for that, "This grill is Awesome" Everyone who sees it is amazed & asks where I got it. It's not your usual wimpy decorative brush guard, this is the real deal!

Ease of install?? Top brackets are not right.

The Rancher no. 46661 is very well built the trouble I am having is that the top brackets do not work on my Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 4x4 so I cannot mount my grill guard its been two weeks now and still no word of what "Go industries" is going to do to solve this problem. I have made several phone calls and sent pictures extensively. They just tell me that they are working on it. Frustrated.

A really good addition to my truck.

I bought this Grill Guard for my truck to protect my rig when I'm off roading. The small bars across the head light area are a nice touch and I'm pleased I can still use my factory tow hooks.. It was kind of hard to install, but me and my wife accomplished it in about an hour. It look really awesome on my truck and I'm really satisfied with my purchase.

My budy bought one month before me from same place. I received the Rano Grill guard in fine time. Easy to put on and it looks great.

We are very excited about our Rancher Grille Guard, it is strong, heavy, and made very well and still very affordable. My brother is looking for a grille guard, we have previously showed him our new one, he was very impressed. Be looking for another buy.

Good but could be better

The grille arrived quickly was was great. It is a nice grill but frankly I think Go Industries tried to get a little too fancy with it though. They cut the back part of the grille's frame to fit the specific contours of the bumper and lower air deflector. However it's not perfect and quite honestly it never could be. The should have just cut the backside of the grill off square and left it at that. The contoured edges didn't align quite right on my truck and are now digging into the bumper. Had I known this before I mounted the bumper I would have cut the contours off flat with a plasma cutter and repainted the grille. I also have a beef with the way the grill mounts to the frame. The upper mounts are offset from the frame and where the bracket attaches to the grille. This gives the grille leverage over the mount point on the frame (about 8 inch's worth). The mount points on the grill were in perfect alignment with the frame. They should have designed the straps to stay inline with the frame for maximum strength rather than offsetting them to the side. The lower mounts are nothing more than an L-shaped bracket that attaches to the backside of a bolt that the bumper mounts with. The bracket will not prevent the lower portion of the bumper from being forced inwards towards the vehicle though. There is no gusseting on the bracket whatsoever. I am going to brake an additional bracket to attach at the lower mount, angle up and back to the frame towards the engine. This will give the grille something to back up against. The shipment also contained one photocopied sheet of the instructions (implying that there should have been more than one sheet of instructions and they were not included in the shipment). It took 3 of us almost 3 hours to mount this grille due to the lack of instructions. The package of bolts, nuts, lock washers, and fender washers were also missing some parts. All in all I like the grill. It would look better on a black or chrome bumper (or any other painted color) than it do
