The fit/finsh of the guard itself is great - matt black with no blemishes, burrs, or flaws. The mounting hardware kit consisted of 6 brackets - all heavy duty. The only problem I had was with the brackets - they were NOT marked. The pictures in the instruction booklet were hard to see to identify which bracket was which. When I mounted the "top" brackets the first time, I had the driver's/passenger sides reversed and had to unbolt them and remount. Otherwise - a very good product.

Great accessory for my 2013 FJ Cruiser. Installation was easy and instructions from Aries was clear and concise. The grill is well made and exactly what I was looking for. All this combined with autoanything's great pricing and free shipping made it perfect.

This grille guard is only 70 lbs but adds a substantial amount of stability to my vehicle. Installation wasn't bad but did find two (2)pcs stamped wrong. All brackets are stamped with either "D" or "P" = driver side /passenager side, they were stamped incorrectly. Verfiy all parts fit prior to installation. Other than that it works very well and looks nice too.

Fast and safe shipping. Bought this as a Xmas gift for my hubby and he absolutely loves it. He found it easy to install and I added the lights to it just to be over the top. I will return to purchase more items from AutoAnything.

Me and my son first started to put on the Grille Guard. The weather was good and it was in the 50 degree range. Well after about 2hrs. we quite and took it to my local body shop. They had it on in about 2hrs. My friend only charged me $50.00 but he said it was worth more. Even with the lift it was no eary task. But it was worth the $50.00 or even more. A quality product that feels and looks like don't mess with me!!! Even my wife likes the appearence. I am very happy and went to work and recommended to the FJ Crusiec Club there the Aries Guard. Thank you for carring quality products. Plus I read the comments before I bought and they were very helpful.

Pros: 1. Solid metal construction and welds appear equally solid 2. Nice to have poly shield protection for bull bars 3. Easy to install with no modifications to FJ 4. Paint on Guard appears to be quality 5. Fit and appearance are strong 6. All parts included Cons: 1. Attachments to Radiator Supports provides limited strength to actually support the grille incase it were ever needed for an impact with deer or for pushing a vehicle. No problem for branches, but would not do well on trees. Wish the designer figured out a way to provide more strength for supporting the guard.

If you want the perfect product then pay $1000 for the good stuff. I myself am very happy with what I got for $400. I only had to re-drill some of the mounting holes on the brush guard to make it perfect to my liking. Others may never even notice or care. If you have the know how and tools to edit some holes this brush guard is awesome for the price.
