I have a Titanium Silver 4Runner and the Black Bull Bar looks absolutely awesome! I bought it primarily for aesthetics as it is my only vehicle and I would not risk doing additional off roading with my only transportation. Install was easy, hardest part was breaking the factory nuts, luckily I was able to get a friend to put it on a lift so we could get some leverage. Once that that was done it was really easy. Ordering and delivery went well also, AutoAnythig is a breeze.

This is supposed to be vehicle specific, but with the exception of the frame mounting holes it is bad 1. the mounting plates totally cover the factory tow hooks fro absolutely no reason 2. the bar actually touches the plastic of the factory bumper 3. the light mounting holes are not even close to vertical (like 30 degrees off) and had to be re-drilled 4. the bottoms of the mounting holes are to narrow for most deep socket wrenches and don't line up with the slots in the skid plate, so the skid plate had to come off and the bottom holes had to be bored out 5. the skid plate is cheap and also almost impossible to get off due to the positions of the cheap allen screws if you want something that looks good, with zero functionality then go for it. if you want to mount lights and use your factory tow hooks then forget about it. a little thought could have gone a long way to make this a much better product. come on steelcraft... can't you even drill your holes straight? I would not recommend this to people with a gen 4 4 runner.

I learned of Steelcraft Bull Bars from an on-line SUV forum. The reviews said that the Steelcraft product was better quality than others and attaches in four points rather than two. I agree that it is very solid and looks great. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
