I received the Grille guard within 3 days of ordering! Boy was I suprised and there was no shipping cost... even better! I had a local shop put the grille on for me because I wanted them to do a good job. It really changed the appearance of my Ridgeline. I looks like a bigger truck. I am really happy with this product and I do recommend it.

Installation was difficult for me. I(like others) took the shortcut by not removing the splash guard. Used a Dremmel tool to cut the openings. Removing the 12mm factory bolts that secure the frame bracket to the front cross member was difficult (extremely tight). Pulling down the frame bracket to install the new mounting bracket was no problem; however, there was no "wiggle room" to align the brackets with the holes. What was needed was to loosen the large hex bolt securing the frame bracket to

Overall i feel the guard is a very good product. It seems well constructed and has a very aggressive look on my Ridgeline. The only problem i experienced is the paint seems to scratch off easly. You can use a black marker to hide the scratch. I had it installed and they said it was no problem. Took about an hour.

The build quality and appearance are excellent. I have received numerous comments on the good looks and strength of the guard. The only glitch in the installation was the template for the splash guard was incorrect. Made proper adjustment with Dremel and it looks great.

Be prepared to modify, this is not a direct bolt on accessory. First the directions that come with it are terrible, download the PDF file thats on Steelcrafts website. Second the hole drilled did not have enough play at all so after e-longating them I finally got it to sit straight, but now the upper brackets that attach to the radiator support pan were useless because they were short and did not fit. So I had to fabricate new upper brackets. After hours taking it of on and off I finally got it on. It does look good but next time I'll just get a Bull Bar...

I love the grill guard...it was a little tricky getting it on as I didn't realize I would have to cut through the pastic pan under the grill to install the plates...once that was done it looks awsome! Already crashing through brush!

My order was for a replacement guard. I had one of these on my Ridgeline and was in a wreck. The body shop guy said it looked like it saved 2000+ in damages. Thats not counting all the little bumps it handled before that wreck. I bought this to replace it, so you know I am satisfied.
