not only were the directions less then perfect but the quaility was not what I expected. The Stainless steel ones are made & "INSPECTED" in China. It is polished stainless, which means there were many areas that were missed. Mine came with a large gough in the top. Not a shipping problem, someone put this in the box and shipped it anyway. Gotta love the chinese. If not for AutoAnything's help I do not think Smittybilt would have replaced the unit. For $300 bucks I expected better from Smittybilt.

I bought the chrome one for my 2013 Silverado withe the all chrome front. I took the bottom cover off so my licence plate isn't blocked. I like the look. It only took a few minutes to install. Th mounting hardware seems a bit flimsy and you loose the front tow hooks.

Quality control shows, the polished stainless steel finish was unblemished and the grill fitted my 2013 GMC without any big problems. AutoAnything shipped it promptly. Mostly cosmetic, it wouldn't knock a bull out of the way, but it's sturdy enough not to look flimsy. Jonathan

Very nice looking product but the install is tricky. If you wait until the end to tighten brackets to bar they are all but impossible to reach. Line them up and mark them on the truck so you can tighten them up before mounting.
