Easy To Install!

Reviewed By Tammy P (Dixon, KY) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Explorer —8/3/2017 5:38 PM

This was a breeze to install! It came already put together, all that had to be done on our vehicle was take a couple bolts out and replace them with the ones on the grill guard. It is heavy duty & looks great! Would highly recommend!

Great guard -- terrible installation

Reviewed By Jim Y (Franklin, OH) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Explorer —12/30/2011 5:07 PM

The guard itself is great and looks good on the Explorer. Ordering was easy and the folks who I talked to on the phone were great. The shipping was good and the box arrived on time with no problems. The install kits was missing both nut plates to bolt the guard to the frame. I made my own or that could have been a big problem. The instructions for installation had to be the worst I have every used for anything. They needed to be much more indepth with better part identification. After several tries, my son and I were able to complete the construction. There were parts with the install kit that were never mentioned and as I said earlier some parts were missing. Even though the guard looks good I would think twice about ordering another Go Rhino product.

Overall Satisfied.

Reviewed By Kurt M (Farmington, MN) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Explorer —8/5/2010 8:54 AM

The guard was fairly easy to install. Only issue was the center support bracket had the mounting screw holes on the wrong side. Needed to drill new ones. Also, the entire guard wobbles slightly on anything less than smooth roads. The guard is more for looks than use. If I did happen to hit a deer, it would fold like a tin can. Lastly, the bolts are silver, where the rest of the guard is black. They stick out like a sore thumb. I plan to paint them black to blend in.
