Because of the way that my bed-liner was installed it was necessary for me to install the tailgate seal in a different manner than was suggested by the installation instructions. It did appear, however, to create a good seal and I will be able to comment in a more comprehensive manner in the spring when I once again take my vehicle on some of New Mexico's back-country dirt and gravel roads. I think that the seal will work just fine and I would recommend this supplier.

I have had other tailgate seals before this - but not this brand. The off-center adhesion has caused the seal part to move away from the seal area surface. I carefully followed the instructions - but because of the failure, I had to turn the product 180 degrees so the adhesion was at the top rather than the bottom of the seal across the tailgate hinge bottom. This of course weakened the adhesion capability and I don't expect it to last long due to the removal and reapplication.

I installed this on my Toyota Tundra. It does what it specify, no more dirt in my covered bed. Easily installs in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely buy this product if I buy another truck

I can only speak to a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. The issue I had was I go down dirt logging roads to my camp and the opening in the tail gate allows a lot of dust to enter. This seal helped with that issue but had some modifications to seal the gate more completely. GMC have a huge gap but luckily Lund provides about 2 ft extra. Cut a few 3" pieces and add at the top reverse direction to the original and on the gate door on each side. This creates a flap where the gasket will overlap each other.

A truck's bed will NEVER be 100% watertight, but this seal does its job, and helps minimize water entry. Out of several tailgate seals I have tried, this one is the best so far. My Raptor is free of mud in the bed, just a very very small amount of water intrusion.
