Appearance is tight and a professional install is possible by novice. Must drill two holes on each side of tailgate which are provided with Pro Net. Took a total of 20 minutes from start to finish. Personally, I prefer to put the Pro Net semi-gloss design toward the inside and show the matte black net from the outside. Would definitely recommend above an open tailgate

Having never bought one of these before, perhaps my expectations were too high. I expected it to be a heavier duty quality, but it seems it could rip easily. I would have like for it to have a simpler installation for my pickup, especially since they ask for your vehicle type so that you order the right one. Shipping was a little slow and communication could have been better. Overall I would look for something better for my needs the next time around

Well, that's why I bought this as my tailgate disintegrated and I needed something to...restrain cargo. LOL I'm glad I read previous reviews that mentioned you need to use sheet metal screws for the installation, which wasn't too difficult. All that being said, this net won't restrain something really heavy like a pallet of wood pellets. But, I did have some vinyl post sleeves for my deck railing and it kept them from sliding off the truck. And it was a lot cheaper than buying a tailgate.

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 with a fifth wheel in the bed.I didn't want to loose items in the back while traveling and also didn't want to spend $140 for the "fifth wheel type tapered tailgate".This was exactly what I wanted and the price was right.Installation was easy and I mounted it a little differently than advertised for my needs.I also used self-drilling sheet metal hex screws in place of the ones provided. This was much quicker and I didn't have to get into the truck. I'm happy.
