This is a very nice extender. It can be a little tough to assemble as you want to make sure that the three levels of rails are all equally set-up, but once you can do that, it's really very simple and looks really sharp. I mainly use it to keep smaller items from going against the front of the bed wall but it looks sturdy enough to hold cargo from shifting.

Instructions have two template options. One for a bed liner and one without. Instruction do not specify type of bed liner. I have a sprayed in liner and used the template for the bed liner which made my holes two low. I had to re drill using the other template.

Like any other install it took me as much time to interpret the directions as it did the actual process. Even with a couple careless mistakes on my part I was still done in not much over an hour and that included installing the no-drill mounts for an F-150. I'm sure I could cut that time in half if I had another one to do.

I purchased the AMP research bed extender along with the Truxedo Low QT tonneau cover for my 2015 F150 Supercrew. It took some modification to make it work properly with the bed cover due to the added width into the bed rails for the framework of the QT. I solved this by adding nylon/ABS spacers (3/4") and longer screws for the mounting brackets attached to the bed. This allowed "Swing" clearance for the bed extender past the Low QT rails. Well built and easy to assemble.
