The Smittybilt side armor need bars arrived quickly. Packaging was great with no damage. Install went smooth but would definitely recommend two people for the install. Don't let the "made in China" part worry you...solid nerd bars from Smittybilt!!

Great price and fast shipping. Naturally you have to drill the inner holes to attach the rear bumper, a bit combersome. Front bumper took about 10 minutes. The side steps had to have all the holes drilled to be attached to the frame. A two man job for sure but very solid when done. Overall real pleased with the look.

Should protect my TJ, really looks good, have gotten good comments on the Smittybilt side armor, I have bought several things made by this company,Winch, front and rear bumper , and have read a lot of bad reviews but I am really pleased with Smittybilt, I think they get a bad rap, what isn't built in China these days, I would love it if this stuff was made in America, but at least it provides "jobs" in these United States.

the coating is smooth in spots and textured in others. it wouldnt be so bad if it was where you could not see it but is in plain view, thought about sending them back but it would be to much trouble. im just going to coat them with aftermarket bed coating.

This is a high quality guard. Very well made and very strong. They really look great. I installed them by myself. It took about an hour. I used two floor jacks to hold it in place. It would have been much easy-er with two people. Once installed not only do they look good , but can be used as a step as well as a guard. I would recommend this guard.
