Did a lot of research before going with the Xpel brand headlight protection film. This stuff is awesome. Extremely tough, very thick, easy to apply, and the adhesive is like nothing I've ever seen, super sticky. I did run into one issue with the set I received but I contacted Xpel directly and they shipped me out a replacement set no questions asked and no hoops to jump through. Xpel has a quality product and some excellent customer service to back it up too!

I'd like to share with you how happy I am with this product. I've been planning to do this for some time, but I've been procrastinating for fear it would be really difficult to apply the film properly and end up with something that looks good. However, it turns out my fears were unfounded. Once you've seen the photos and videos in the support section of XPEL's website, the procedure is a snap. My kit contained 4 pre-cut pieces of film - 2 each for the fogs and headlights - and a nylon spatula tool. Each piece was perfectly precut to fit its assigned lens. All of the other protective film kits that I had previously looked at contain only 20 mil film, but the film in this kit is 40 mil - twice as thick, and it's genuine 3M film. I highly recommend this kit, but you will need a good heat gun to apply the film. The company says you can get away with a hair dryer, but after having performed the installation, I'm not so sure. Remember this is 40 mil film, not 20, so it takes quite a bit of heat to make it conform to the compound curves of most lenses.
