I use these on all three of our vehicles, however there was a bug that managed to stain the film and I haven't been able to get the stain out. Otherwise they seems to help keep your headlamps looking fresh and not getting cloudy by protecting them. Installation isn't all that fun and I have learned that it may take up to 3 or 4 weeks during a hot summer before all of the bubbles under the film are gone.

The turn signals & fog lights are the easy to put on since they are faily flat. The Headlights I let sit in the sun while putting on the sinals & fog lights. I then used a heat gun to help shape them on the curve - I would say 45 minutes to prep lenses and install the X-Pel Protection. I did read the instructions first. I have installed window film a few times and very similar process. Second item ordered and very satisfied. Weather Tech vent shields was first order. I have a 99 4 runner with them on and they sustained tree limbs that fell last Dec in Kansas from an Ice Storm $2000 dent damage to roof. Also hail storm that did $1600 damage in 2001 at Carlsbad, NM.
