Kinda of veg about where to position it on the body. Had to move it twice so the tail gait wouldn't catch it when it close. Had to run to parts store to buy a roll of 3 m tape as when you take it off tape won't restick

What a great way to give your truck that custom look for minimum cost. It was easy to install, (30 minutes) as the instructions were clear. The strip even has adjustable adhesive pads to allow for variances on the sheet metal. The leds are nice and bright, especially in the backup mode, as they provide additional lighting when trying to navigate backwards in the dark. My only gripe is that I dont get to see it when im driving!!! I don't see how anyone wouldn't love this upgrade.

Light strip is very bright solid and rugged definitely not flexible. It was easy to install just not much space to work with. I had to take the 5 plastic spacers off to clear my tailgate. I used 3M 20 lb double sided tape. The hard part was finding what wires on truck controls left right brake and reverse lights. When you put it on the wires of the light bar must be on left (drivers side) side or left turn signal will flash on right.

The product arrived on time but the box and the part was slightly bent, looked like it was bent during shipping. Upon removing the item from the box it had a noticeable bend on one end. I had to use a heat gun to straighten it out. The good news is that it did not affect appearance or performance and the installation was easy using a trailer wiring splitter, then just tie into the reverse lamp wiring behind the taillight. The outcome is great and lights are very bright.

The unit that arrived for my truck (one inflexible bar) was not the same one described in the installation video (a flexible strip). A bit of a trick to make sure it was aligned so you could see it. Removing tailgate was not helpful. My son helped me align and press on. No adherence issues so far (2 weeks). Wiring is very thin. Reverse light must be wired into taillight. Overall very bright, easy to install and will be seen by anyone behind you in traffic. Highly recommend.
