Nice product

Since I donot drive at night very often my experience with these bulbs has been limited. However, when I have used them I was impressed. Installation was a snap, Chevys (2006 Silverado) are super easy to swap bulbs. So, I am happy. I am going to install a set of high beams soon.

Short bulb life, no difference

Despite the hype, no noticeable difference in light output or appearance (these are NOT white). Shockingly short rated life-only 147 hours according to the package. (The OEM bulbs were still fine after15 years). Poor value, expensive for throw-away bulbs, not white, excessively short life.

Way better than originals

These are so much better than factory that it's unbelievable. Low rating on the install is not a problem with the lights - vehicle is the problem. They probably expect everyone to just bring it back to them. I've got these same lights in 2 other vehicles.

Good deal for the money but not quite as bright as advertising s

I replaced my original F-150 halogens with the new Sylvania and while the Sylvania UltraStar he's definitely brighter and less yellow if he is not quite the floodlight that's described in the advertising the price is good installation is easy but if you're looking for the white look in your halogen headlamps this is not the bulb it did however improve visibility so I'm overall satisfied

Whiter light than original factory bulbs

Guess I expected a little more light from these over the ten year old factory bulbs. The light seems to be brighter and more white in color(compared to yellowish of originals) but not breath taking. Was an improvement overall-but was hoping for more.

Extended night vision

These do actually provide greater night visibility. I'm almost afraid I'm blinding the oncoming traffic, but no one is flashing me, so the offsets on the bulbs are working as designed. Installation was a challenge, but only due to the original lock rings on the RAM. I find that these are a good replacement for the original halogen bulbs, which were good, but these are better.

Sylvania Ultra Bulbs

Truly a night & day difference over the OEM bulbs. Can't figure out why Chevy doesn't just build their Chevy Colorados with these bulbs. Installed the low beams first; now will order the high beams

The color of these are great! These are much better than stock ones on the car. It has a wider light beam and farther light beam and when brights are On:they are a huge improvement. I recommend it to anyone for a cheap mod with great results.

Good, but could be better.

After a week's driving at night with the Silver Star Ultras, I was a bit disappointed. They still have a bluish back light, which I do not care for. They are also not a white in color as the ZXE Xenon bulbs I was replacing to eliminate the bluish back light. So I replaced them with the ZXE bulbs due to a more brilliant white light. I had hoped the Silver Star Ultras would not have the bluish effect like the ZXE bulbs. I will keep them as a back up set, but for now, I will stick with the ZXE.

Sylvania SilverStar Ultra Bulbs

I replace these on my 2008 FJ cruiser and I am not really happy with them. The original OEM Sylvania lights I believe have better range of light. Also seem to be more distinct in lighting. Would order OEM next time. The price is cheaper... But then again...,there's a reason why.

Improving your night vison

We get lots of rain in western Oregon, and night vison with better lighting for my GMC pickup is important. The SilverStars produce a bright white light as opposed to the yellow/dim light from OEM's,and at the same time seem not to offend on coming drivers. Jerry
