Nice but short of a five star!

Great product that looks very nice. Short falls as the product for good adhesion needs to include 3M adhesion promotor for a professional install and proper adhesion. That is my only complaint.

    Putco needs better quality control

Putco lets you believe that there is 5 foot of wire and there is only 3 and a half. instructions let you believe you can run the wire from passenger side to driver side splice together and use the provided connectors. But because wire is too short ,connetors not the right gauge makes difficult.I have bought a lot of putco products in the past and this is the one I am least satisfied.

    Very Nice Upgrade

Seems of good quality, although the indicated way of wiring it is not correct, also, the wire attachment do not work for such a small wire in the equipment provided. The described appearance is also not correct. The LED strip actual lighting is smaller and do not cover the whole strip. It doesn't look custom as with the description and pictures in the site. I wouldn't order it again, I would perhaps change the whole lighting system, it would be almost the same amount of work and price.

    Fairly nice product, but...

I purchased and installed the Putco Dayliner LED Headlight Strips on my 2012 Ram 3500 Mega Cab. They look OK, but the issues I have with the product are: INSTALLATION ISSUES a. Putco's instructions state that the Dayliners have two wires (black and white)...the two wires were actually black and red b. Putco included an 18GA ScotchLock to tie into the existing lights...the Dayliner wires are very thin (22GA) so I had to purchase a 22GA ScotchLock to make them work. c. The 3M tape is sticky, but gathers up and looks terrible if/when you have to unstick the lights and reposition them during installation. PERFORMANCE a. While the lights are noticeable, they aren't as bright as the factory LEDs on Audi's, some Mercedes, and even Kia's. b. The price is too high given that universal LED strips are priced $15-$30.
