craftsmanship 101

Received some great looking tail lights...easy to install, with the appearance I wanted. Unfortunately, moisture set in the very next day causing my right turn signal not to work. I informed the company of this and they sent me a video to watch on how to apply silicone. I suppose that's exactly what I'll do.....thanks!

Look good thin plastic

Had lots of compliments on the taillights, but the plastic is quite thin had a kid hit one of the taillights with a ball and it broke the lens. The ball didn't seem to hit it that hard but just at the right spot it broke a piece out near the backup lights.

Next Best Thing to OEM

bought these to replace original tail lights when one was broken by an aggressive tree. Indistinguishable from originals in appearance, fit perfectly, 15 minute installation. And they work!

Spectacular

Great, clean & clear look. I put a 3-D transparent cover over the lights to prevent "the cloud" from the elements. I love the custom look on my '05 Mini Cooper.

Spec-D Led Tail lights for 2005 Dodge Neon SXT

Beautiful. Quality sturdy heavy dutyplastic lens. Ten minutes to install. Needed my mechanic to show me how to remove the old bulb. Two seconds to do. After that just plugin the new. Unlike the poor fit of the SPYDER that I, previously, bought and had to return twice because it was glass and received damaged because it was so poorly packaged the SPEC-D fit like a glove.

Looks Great But Melting From The Inside

Purchased a pair of these to place on my 2011 Silverado. I had to take it to a car shop for an electrician to hook it up. It wasn't a plug and play type headlamp. The user manual cited 2007 - 2010; I had a 2011, however, the part number was the same. The box behind the light, which is connected by wiring and used for the led lights, is overheating and melting both units. I am having them returned.

spec d tail light review.

For the price I felt these were the most decent pair of led taillights out for my vehicle. Installation was a breeze and the directions were straight forward. The only problem I'm having is that it looks light the chrome outline on the inside of the right light shows monor bubbles. At first I thought it may have been the angle I was looking at the truck from so I moved the truck and it's still there. I guess I can deal with it as long as it doesn't get any worse.

Great New Look for the price

Great New look, easy install. Make sure you cable tie the transformers to the inside of the body so they don't hang free. Love the appearance.

ZX3 Need Rewiring to use!

Company advertising item that says there's no rewiring or additional needs to install but items will not connect to existing wires...may have to buy a connector to match the sockets or get the wires spliced together.

DO NOT BUY these Spec-D LED Lights!!

These lights only lasted 97 days before LEDs started to go out. Half of the right rear were out which is the brake light portion and two LEDs on the left.. The manufacturer warranty is only 90 days and they would not even give me a direct discount or anything on a replacement set...so I had just wasted a few hundred dollars. I bought the ANZO which has a one year warranty. So far so good!

Nice looking lights 2004 Titan

I like how they look. my only issue is that the aftermarket parts did not line up perfectly and left a gap for water to seep in. I had to buy something to create a seal to prevent water from ruining the lights. I believe the lights were not shaped or molded to specs, and these should have been inspected before shipping. I'm hoping the lights and my modification keeps them dry. If not I hope the website will replace them.

2009 F150 Spec-D LED Tail Lights

Easy and quick install and most important, great look! Only issue is that Spec-D doesn't make the 3rd break light for 2009 and above models to complete the look. Called Spec-D and they did give me a compatible alternative, Anzo, and the look is now complete. They look like they were made by the same manufacture so the entire set looks great. Makes it seem like a totally new truck. Great price for the quality and they headlights are great too.

Could use better materials

They are nice taillights but made cheap. I had them for 3 weeks and the tabs that screw in to the side of the truck broke. The way i found out was a nice driver pulled up besides me and said "hey bro you got a tail light hanging out by the wires." other than that they were nice. Maaybe i got a bad set but i am returning them.

Bright Lights

Easy installation. Had to use factory clips for screws but only problem I ran across. Wish a plug/cover was provided for extra light socket. Very bright and look great on truck.

Great look, fit, & function

These break lights were simple to install with no issues. The backup and tail lights are brighter (even though the factory backup light is used). I like that the 2 big round bulges from the factory ones are gone. With this having the red lens, it looks more like a factory piece, and not like the "Euro-style" clear and silver ones that I dislike. I highly recommend these.

looks and works great.....NOW!

Looks and works great now, alittle disappointed in the regualr 1156 reverse light buld but thats no big deal, the big deal was getting them to work properly! The plug is cheap and poorly designed, you pack to many grounds under one contact,it doesnt stay clipped in and just pushes out, for about a week I was pulling them out everyday to fix them until I bought a larger contact for them and soldiered the wires back on, now no problems at all, might want to redesign that!
