Description:

Even for an old pro, towing can be dangerous business. Trailing a big load out back requires a lot of skill and a fair amount of faith. But with Spec-D Tuning Manual Towing Mirrors, you can always keep an eye on what's behind and beside you. So even a hauling novice can tow like a seasoned pro!

Spec-D manual towing mirrors feature a manual adjustment that telescopes in and out with ease. That way, you can set ‘em right where you need ‘em. The Euro-style two-piece design gives these manual tow mirrors a wide-angle mirror up top and a convex reflector down below, so you always get a full field of rear view.

Spec-D manual side mirrors completely replace those scrawny factory reflectors. They're designed for a custom factory fit so there's no hassle when it comes to installation. That means your new manual truck mirrors are on in a flash and you're hauling loads in no time. Best yet, Spec-D Tuning backs your Manual Towing Mirrors with a 90-day warranty.

Great mirrors! No wobble at all

The mirrors are sweet! They are about the size of the factory mirrors when folded down. Then when folded up they become taller and stick out a little bit more. My wife says now she can see everything. Hopefully she wont have another backing accident! Lol... the only thing wrong was the front bolt needed to be grinded down a little bit. On my truck it would hit the a pillar frame a tiny bit. I grinded the little un-threaded nub off the tip and it works great! Easy to install direct plug and play!

No instructions and no indication that drilling is required!

While the quality of the mirrors seems decent, you are on your own when it comes to how to install them. After removing the stock mirrors, I found the towing mirrors are held on with four studs while the stock ones were only held by three. That fourth stud? There is no hole for it in the door! Instead, you get to drill a hole in your new truck's door... without the aid of a template for placement. The retainers for the wiring were in the wrong place so those needed to be moved.

Spec-D towing mirrors

Had a chance this weekend to try these out on a road trip without towing. I like that they were heated as my stock mirrors are but the description on the website indicated not heated. I only gave 3 stars because they are too tall and too narrow. I can't see over them and the passenger side doesn't have wide enough vision for barking up comfortably. I will see if I can get used to them but I am a little disappointed so far.

Quality ok for price, pictures in instructions poor

Given the price of the mirrors I considered quality ok, time will tell. Due to very poor pictures in instructions I had to guess on how to install brackets. Since I ended up cutting them down I would guess I didn't do install as designed. I do have larger mirrors now using org mounting location.

Awesome mirrors

Easy, perfect replacement of stock mirrors with these bolt on beauties! No vibration. The backing plate provides sturdy reinforcement of door for great support. About 2 hour install time.

Wow what a difference towing mirrors make

Installed these on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma and I can't believe how much I love them. yes the main mirror portion does vibrate slightly but it's nothing that bothers me well worth the change and well worth the money. I ordered chrome with no option for black and they came black (which is what I wanted) and heated so I had install relay and the switch. They needed to change the photograph online took some research tracking the part number at other sites and it's a flip up mirror.

They Fit

I had ordered Towing Mirrors from Amazon that said would fit! Not even close. I ordered from Auto Anything and the mirrors fit like a glove, they even had a forth bolt to attach for a tight fit. nice fit and they look great.

Mike

Over all great. The top mirror viberates a little, and the bottom mirrors had to adjust where I would like to move it .

Very Solid Towing Mirrors for my Tacoma

These mirrors are very solid and work sooooo much better than the strap-on / clip-on mirrors I was using before I got these. They actually don't look like the mirrors shown on the website. They have a single arm that has the mirror at the end, and the mirrors rotate up for towing. One great thing is that the electric mirror controls work the same (up/down/right/left) regardless of whether the mirrors are in the "normal" or "towing" position. Love these mirrors.

Great fit 2011 Tundra

Great fit. Easy install after watching a few videos online. Installed both mirrors under 30min, looks and works great. Mirrors do vibrate a bit in housing but would still recommend.

These mirrors do the job.

I have a Chevy pickup and a 30' trailer. The $20 suction cup towing mirrors just didn't cut it so I put these on. Just three nuts and a plug and I was in business. The top portion of the mirror is large and has a great field of vision. The bottom portion gives a great blind spot view, but even more, it shows me where the trailer wheels are. These also extend out, as needed, for a better view. While they cost more than the $20 tow mirrors, they are worth every penny.

The quality of these mirrors seems to be very good. They plugged right in and everything worked. My only complaint becomes the fact that there were zero instructions included in the package.
