Having mud flaps or mud guards on your car or truck keeps your fenders clean, and keeps mud from flying everywhere! It also prevents mud or other debris from flying onto other vehicles and pedestrians. Depending on the type of mud guards or mud flaps that you choose, they also have a hand to play in the aerodynamics of your vehicle as they can either improve airflow or lower drag.

"Installed on a 2008 GMC Sierra Crew Cab New Body Style. A good long-lasting product, everything is stainless steel including the mounting bolts and washers. They were easy to install. My only complaint is that they do not parallel the body line exactly. They stick out 1-2" more at the back than the front but they still look good. The brackets have room for adjustment but this is limited by the mounting posts on the frame. Maybe GM made a small change from 2007 to 2008 models? I would still recommend them." —Paul H from Kingsville, ON bought a Husky Liners Mud Guards for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
