I cant say enough about how much I like this product. My one gripe would be the on-off switch, which I returned. It is a temporary switch and after 30 minutes , the steps revert back to fully automatic. My guess is that this is a safety feature to prevent someone from turning them off and forgetting they did, then stepping out and potentially falling. I have a curb in my driveway, an off switch would allow me to keep them from hitting the curb. So not really a fault of AMP research.
