Who ever wrote these instructions has never installed them, at least not on 2015 Ram. There were so many problems with the instructions I think they might have been cut & pasted from other instruction manuals. if you are not very good with tools and improvisation don't buy these. In the end they look good and function properly. But I will not buy Dee Zee again.

I HAVE USED THIS BRAND BEFORE AND KNEW AHEAD OF TIME THAT THEY WERE THE BRAND I WANTED BECAUSE OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH dee zee. I have now in stalled them and I am completely satisfied..They were an easy install and the vehicle now looks like it should have from the factory. They protect the vehicle from rocks and debris ( I live on dirt roads )and it makes entry and exit much easier. Thanks for a great product.

Quality was ok and installation was fairly straightforward, but these boards ride very low on a Ram 1500 4x4 (much more so than is shown in the stock pictures)and don't extend out far enough to provide a reliable step when entering and exiting the vehicle. I believe the same board design is probably used on all trucks, and it doesn't work well with the new Rams. I emailed DeeZee several days ago to see if there might be any adjustment, but so far no response. Customer service????

this is my 4th set of running boards since 1998. the old way of mounting the boards to the cab mounts was much stronger and easier to install. mounting to the rocker panels gives the boards a spongy feel when you step on them. the tool to expand the set nuts wears out about half way through, thank god i have a welder to finish the job. these boards also are about 1 3/4 lower than my last set which cuts down on ground clearance. overall they look the same thats why i bought them again. if the mounting doesnt change i wont buy them again
