I received this as a gift and was thrilled with how they look on the vehicle. Fairly easy to install. Most of the difficulty probably came from having my preschool aged son help out! Would definately recommend.

Packing slip indicated wrong year. Had to call customer service to verify correct item. Parts identified in instructions did not match actual parts. The bars fit well and look good.

I just installed these steps on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. So far so good. The install took about 1 1/2 hours. I am not sure why these mount to the body, when my last steps mounted to the frame, this is why the install took so long. However, I think these steps look great, but we will see how long they last. My last steps (made by a different company)only lasted about 2 years.

The side steps are both fictional and good looking, they were easy to install, about an hour, they also dressed up my wrangler. The only problem I had was the kit comes with 4 10mm bolts to bolt steps to underside of body, on my 2012 wrangler there are 4 8mm nuts already there so I needed to make a trip to the hardware store to buy (4) 8mm bolts to finish the install

Installed on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Arrived on time, well packaged. Instruction say 12 and 15MM sockets. Should be 13 and 16MM. Left side installed OK using m10 nut plates. Right side of Jeep was pre-installed with M8-1.25 threaded holes. Had it go to store to purchase bolts. Right side ended uo uneven with front being about right, but back being about 1/2" high. Assume rear mounting bracket is not build correctly. Haven't figured out how to fix yet. Will probably need new right side rear bracket from Westin.

These oval bars are easy to install, make it easier to get into and out of the Wrangler, and improve the appearance of the Jeep. They're marked front and rear, but not which side is which, so lay them out with the bars and you'll be able to match up the holes in the bars and the Jeep to save yourself some time. Takes about an hour and they mount easily in the Jeep's mounting holes - really, no drilling.

They look excellent...better than the ones I would have paid over $600.00 for from the dealer as an add on option. The directions were a bit TOO simplified however. Just ignore them at first (re: placement and finding "tape"), just get under the vehicle and match up the holes, then go with the directions from there re: what hardware to place in each area.

the westin side steps were delivered and appeared relatively straight-forward on the install. they were slightly longer than they should have been for a 2-door JK, and seriously rubbed the front tires after the install, to the point that the turning radius was significantly diminished. after marking them front and back, i removed six and three quarters of an inch from the front steps and eight and three sixteenths from the rear of each step, filed the inner and outer edges, repainted them in gloss black, and re-installed them on the wrangler. they now look great and are very functional as well. the jeep does have seven and a quarter inches of lift, with 35x12.50x15 BF Goodrich all-terrains on it, so it was NOT the stock height or factory tires and rims when the westin steps were installed.
