Came in with one of the boards having a dent. Called customer service and they sent a board out Next Day Air. They look and function great on the truck.

I first bought the steps in 08 for my 05 GMC Sierra and they were amazing then. 9 1/2 years later I have another GMC sierra but a four-door and the steps have nothing but improved. They come down just a little bit lower which I really like, I like the coating on the steps l,and I like the LED feature. As long as the steps last the test of time meaning the motor and the components hold up; just like they say 60,000 mile or five year warranty I will be very happy with the steps and so will you!!

Wow, great steps and, though expensive, worth it for the fact that where I live in PA with lots of mud/snow/ice they retract out of the way when not in use and don't collect muck! I do know they can "freeze up" if exposed to too much frozen material (and prob mud, too), so would be sure one has decent mud flaps installed, and preferably fender flares as I plan to put on. Overall, a great product. I did purchase the (worthwhile) optional wiring harness which makes the installation easier.

The instructions could be much better concerning removal of door panels on 2011 Silverado (5 bolts not three). The key is to allow enough time. it is helpful to run a separate wire through the plastic tube when trying to fish trigger wires into the door panels. A damaged plastic end cap was quickly replaced by AR. Great product!! The position of the Amp running boards is far better than fixed running boards because they extend lower and further out when extended. LEDs work nicely.

I have 2013 gmc diesel, you have to drop the def tank to access the wiring for the passenger side, I did have to use shims on the from mounts to even them with the side of the truck. Definitely will need mud flaps to keep debris off of them. I have the front leveled and the are the perfect step in and out distance for my wife and I. She is 5-5 and I'm 5-11. No more slidding off the seat. The parts I worry about breaking are the mounting holes not the step parts. I am happy with them so far.

These are worth the money. They are easy to install, but not quick by any means. Probably want to give yourself a solid 6-8hrs to complete them properly. AMP did what they could to make these steps look good, but the 2012 GMC DEF tank was truly the problem. If you own a truck like mine, be aware that these DO NOT conceal like on other vehicles.

These running boards are a must have. The OEM steps are just too small. Power steps are the way to go. Installation time was 3 hours. They make the truck look great too.

These amp power steps are awesome. The instructions are great. They give you a torque pattern that could have only been learned By trial and error. I followed instructions to the letter and it worked Perfectly. Watch the YouTube videos before you open the box and That will help a lot too. I have a 2500HD diesel with the DEF tank And these things still fit like a glove. I used more tie wraps durring the Install. 6" long tie wraps that you can pick up at lowes or Home Depot. Worth the money

After a year of searching, I am thrilled! My initial concern: I have a diesel truck with the DEF tank under the passenger seat. The retracted step is much more visible than the gas version. I was worried the black bottom would be a stark contrast to the white truck and would look horrible. I was WAY wrong. The step blends in with the frame behind and looks great. Installed myself in a few hours. No problems! My kids and wife are happy to have easy access and I keep the clean look of my truck
