The running boards are just the ticket for a hunter or mudder. They are folded up against the truck when running through the muck and mud. They fold out lower than the normal fixed step. My wife loves them since she can now dismount like a lady without having to slid to the ground. She also loves the LED lighting for night entrance. Great item and I wish I had installed them earlier.

These are exceptionally well build and look amazing on my Black truck. You can hardly notice they are there..I can't wait for my lift kit as these steps will split the difference and become a smooth stepping transition into the cab. (Might be too low if no lift was intended)...

the instructions were for someone that has done this before.I had problems with the first step because you had to be under the truck to understand it.I followed the instructions to the letter and it took 10 hours to complete. when I installed the fuse , it blew.I had to take it to a shop and pay a mechanic. We took it all apart and started over.We found the module under the hood was plugged in backwards. This should'nt be possibe. Please design a plug that can only be installed one way!!!!

Had two problems, one was the packing on the wiring box was marked for an F-150 this was a concern since I have a Silverado. The next is that back bracket on the driverside interfers with the hand brake cable were the two cables come together, needed to install rubber around the cable to keep it from ratteling. The boards work great, just think there could have been more thought put into the mounting of the back bracket on driverside.
