As some have posted, it does extend to the side. However with my future plans to extend wheels outward with fender flares it will look perfect. These are one of the easiest to get out of the truck since they do extend outward more than most. Very sturdy. 2013 Sierra Crew cab.

Just as advertised. Without a doubt very pleased with the purchase. Looks great and is very functional. Thanks for the service.

Just like OEM for half the price. Perfect fit. Good instructions. Took me one hour to install with no help from opening the box to my tools all put away. I used a cordless impact driver and a 1/2 inch socket. Those were the only tools needed. Bolts right on. Looks fantastic. Kids and wife can get in now without difficulty. Auto anything shipped right to my door. Easy.

There is sometimes a battle between form and function and in the case of these Nerf Bars, function was the only thing the engineer was thinking about. The are very good quality, and the step looks great, but the mounting brackets are poorly designed for a good looking fit. This step sticks out 2" past the tires, and looks dorky. If you want a step to serve only as a step, these are for you, but if you want it to look good (tighter and closer to the truck)choose another brand.

After I installed the first bar it stuck out a little further than I liked. The brackets had adjustments but it was to bring them out further. I cut the brackets off and mounted the bars just under the doors. They turned out great. The installation instructions are worthless but it is easy to figure out. With the bracket modification it took me about 4 hours to install.

Lund 6" oval bars are the greatest look around as nerf bars go. The bars are easy in install. The price was the best deal around. Last but not least AutoAnything people are the greatest to work with. I found them very helpful and courteous.
