APS 6" iBoard Running Boards Reviews

Reviewed By Roy A (Carson, CA) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —8/8/2018 8:21 PM

I wanted factory look running boards on my Ram; after tons of research I opted for these. They look great on the truck. I'm a pretty handy guy with all the tools, still took 3+ hrs to install; one bracket holes didn't line up! They feel very sturdy and are very helpful getting in & out AND cleaning the roof. They arrived in a flash! And were well packaged. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. YouTube video is best. Found them cheaper on amazon 2 days later; but different model #.

AMP Research BedStep Retractable Tailgate Step Reviews

Great Product!

Reviewed By George M (LUBBOCK, TX) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —7/21/2018 7:21 AM

Had a little trouble getting the correct one, seems AMP packaged up some of the single exhaust models in the dual exhaust boxes. So I got TWO that were wrong, but AutoAnything where I bought it originally and AMP both stepped up to make sure I got the correct one. The step works perfectly, tucks in neatly out of the way, deploys easily and is just the perfect height to assist in getting into the PU bed, tailgate up or down.

Good steps, confusing directions

Reviewed By Kerry M (Franklin, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —6/15/2018 1:45 PM

The instructions were confusing. So I laid out all of the hardware under the location on each side where the respective front, middle, and rear holes were and left each side's rail in one of the box halves on the side where it belonged. I initially had them on the wrong sides and switched, then figured out the middle supports were not the same as the instructions implied, but mirror image. Driver front support plate only has 2 holes which makes it weaker than the rest. One man job if careful.
