The fit is not a tight to the pinch weld as pictured, there is enough gap to see the mounting hardware on my truck, which has no impact on function. The only aspect that was a minor disappointment was the hardware, bright zinc coat of pretty low quality. I am going to replace the HW with something more subtle.
