Installation

While the instructions for installing the mounting brackets to the truck were very good, the referenced instructions for installing the steps to those brackets were not included. Just took a little experimenting to see witch slots were to used.

Luverne megastep rating

Looks great. Seems to be very sturdy. I think a little pricey but worth it in the long run.

Installation

Installation IPB (illustrated parts breakdown) confusing. Not very clear. Needs to be slightly larger to make clearer. Ou too three long running boards (155") did not align (last bracket). Had to drill a new hole to fasten down.

Fiddler's review of Luverne MegaStep Neft Boards

WOW. These Nerf Boards are awsome! Good looking, sturdy and has the wide step that looks good on my Dodge Ram. I have owned a lot of trucks in my 68 years and have many running boards/nert boards on all of them. This is one of my favorites. As far as the installation, I had my mechanic install them which took about 1.5 hours (at least thats what he billed me). They look better on this truck than the one that came on my 2015 Ram Longhorn.

Great running board

We did a lot of research on running boards and nurf bars. We fell in love with the Luverne MegaStep Nerf Boards. Both the Luverne customer service and Auto Anything representative were very helpful in product description, installation questions, product quality and most of all how it would fit our new GMC 2017 Canyon truck. Installation took about 1 hour & good instructions paper & video. This is our 2nd time buying from Auto Anything and we are very satisfied with them product and price wise.

Luverne review 6/3/2017

Very nice product. Only wish it had coverage of the open area between the step and the body of the vehicle.

Product look and fit awesome, customer service?????

The boards fit my 2016 4x4 duramax perfectly without dropping the def tank or drilling any holes, unlime most competitors. The instructions are vauge and require a lot of back and fourth review but i was able to complete the install in about 3 hours. What a great looking improvement to an already great looking truck.

Easy to install!!

Needed assist steps because my wife was beginning to have trouble climbing into our truck, chose these rails because the rubber is bonded to the metal. Well constructed, but pricey. Clear instructions, took me about two hours to install. Recommend you attach the steps to LOOSELY installed mounting brackets so insure the brackets are not canted, then tighten the brackets.

Great Step

I love the megastep. I looked at a lot of steps before I bought this to me this was the best looking. Its big enough for my size 13 steel toe boots to get a good purchase on. Install was straight forward instructions were good took me about 4-5 hours using mostly one arm because of the recent surgery on my shoulder. Being SS it shouldn't rust.

'06 Dodge QuadCab 2500 wheel to wheel MegaStep Nerf Boards

My only thing against them is the high price. They are a step above any other wheel to wheel options I could find for a sturdy step bar, but definitely two (or more) steps above in price. Have the 'bar' look, but a full sturdy step I need for my wife to climb in. Good fit, and easy no drilling installation. Think I'll like them if I can get past the guilt of paying that price.

Functional and good looking Nerf Boards.

The Luverne MegaStep W2W boards look great and are very functional. Being disabled I needed a solid and non slip step that I would not get from nerf bars. The MegaSteps had a wide step and I was able to adjust the mounts to have plenty of room for my feet, even with boots. They were kind of spendy but AutoAnything had 15% off and free shipping which helped. The written directions were not as clear as they could have been but the diagram showed me what I needed to do to install them.

Good Looking

They are very good looking. I haven't slipped on them even when wet and they are WIDE enough to get your foot on them and feel secure even with boots. There is no flexing when I step up on them.
