Romik Running Board Sidesteps Reviews

Reviewed by Neil M (Fort George G Meade, MD) Reviewed for a 2007 Jeep Commander — 2008-04-01 04:21:00

Order the Romik steps and received them from in literally one day! They look good, are made of extremely durable material, and did I mention they look great? Took me about 2 hours to install with only a couple of wrenches so no special tools needed. A word of caution - look at the provided installation diagram carefully to avoid having to interchange mounting brackets since it's easy to put them on backwards during installation. Otherwise, install was a breeze and after 3 weeks they seem to be doing great! Highly recommend this purchase.

Dee Zee Brite-Tread Running Boards Reviews

Reviewed by Raymond J K (North Smithfield, RI) Reviewed for a 1994 — 2006-05-30 16:52:58

I purchased the front running boards to replace a damaged set which was caused by accident. I was not able to find a direct replacement locally, but AutoAnything had the connection! I was amazed of the new mounting system. The boards went on in about 15-20 minutes per side, with adding a rust preventive solution to everything. The new style does not connect to the frame and cab, just the cab, but it is very rigid (uses factory located holes in cab). This also cuts down on drivetrain transmitted noise! The originals on my truck were about 8 years old, and the new style mated nicely with the rears (level and protrusion) .Nice product and minimal installation time, what more could you ask for? This complete set-up looks awesome on dually trucks, and it keeps debris off the cab and rear flares.

Bestop PowerBoard Electric Running Boards Reviews

Reviewed by Stephen H (Pasadena, TX) Reviewed for a 2009 Dodge Ram — 2011-04-26 13:13:34

I've wanted these for some time. I found a great deal online and AA price matched it. I also got in on the $100 mail in rebate deal. It took a week to get them shipped. Then Once I went to install them I had two Driver side assemblies. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. Called Bestop and they had the correct parts sent to me in 4 days. Install was pretty easy, I spread it out over 3 days 1-2 hours a day. First day was installing the rivnuts and pulling/terminating the wires. The wire harness is top notch and is prewired for the LED courtesy lights. Second day the drivers side and third the passenger side. The steps are really well made. Mounting them you have to be careful that you get all the little locking cams installed correctly so the whole step doesn't flex. The steps look great because you can't see them! And they drop lower than a traditional running board. They also extend out further. It makes it a little difficult to unload stuff out of the backseat and will take a little getting use to. I've only dinged my shin once as of now. Wish I would have bought them sooner, but waiting saved me about half of what they cost 2yrs ago.

Westin Sure Grip Aluminum Running Boards with Mount Kit Reviews

Reviewed by Chuck L (Chuluota, FL) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Titan — 2007-01-11 05:59:37

I purchased the step boards for the wifes new Titan to assist her on entry and exit of the vehicle. The step boards are well made and offer a customized appearance to the truck besides being practical or useful. I know she is enjoying them , I wish I could tell you how well I like them but I have not driven the truck since she reminds me that I have my Wrangler for that.

Lund TrailRunner Aluminum Running Boards with Mounting Bracket Reviews

Reviewed by Dean D (Boiling Springs, SC) Reviewed for a 2004 Toyota Tundra — 2005-12-13 20:37:08

The Lund Trailrunner Aluminium Running Boards add both style and function to my 2004 Tundra. I had them installed by a professional as I lacked the expertice to mount them myself. Still a good investment all around.
