The front brackets that hold the Nerf bars in place went on easy. The rear brackets did not. I had to cut them and modify them with a grinder and cut off wheel. I also had to drill new holes.

I chose these due to the reputation of Steelcraft in online reviews, and I'm pleased with the product. The mounting brackets are factory welded to form one single strong unit, unlike some other brands which require the buyer to bolt each bracket together from separate pieces. Installation was straightforward (with the use of a lift) using simple tools, but you will need a deep socket for the 6 main nuts and bolts. Took me about 3 hours. Good value at the price.

I was very happy with these for 3 years, but now they look awful as they are rusting out from the inside/edges of the tubes. Although cheap, another example of you get what you pay for. If it were not for the paint rusting off, they would have been 5 stars.
