works to shut down the v4 mode fine, sticks out a bit on my 2011 silverado and the lights that tell you that its working are pointing down on the floor. one other thing, you get the default color blue because on this site there is no option to pick a color, very strange!!!!

Has worked flawlessly since install several weeks ago which was really easy. Just plug it in. So far fuel mileage is slightly better. Seems to work exactly as advertised. Got a $40 discount to boot. Mine came with blue indicator that lights up drivers floor. Could be a little dimmer at night but not too much of a distraction. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Have been driving with this for a little over a month now and it works. All 8 cylinders all the time, no cycling back and forth between 4 to 8. Sounds better with my Impala SS also because with a performance exhaust when it cycled to 4 it sounded like crap. Also I get at least the same or a little better MPG with this. Plug n play easy.

I could tell the difference as soon as I left the driveway. Like driving a totally different truck. So far no difference in fuel consumption. Truck smoothly running on all 8 all the time. Fantastic acceleration and tranny shifting super smooth through all 6 gears. Love it! No battery problems whatsoever. Somewhat on the pricey side but quality device. No complaints at all. If you hate AFM your gonna love this little guy!

The truck has not shifted correctly since it was broken in. Three trips to Chevy dealers with no response except it was built that way & it's doing what it is supposed to or that we can't replicate the problem. The excuses kept coming. After plugging the Range Device into my OBD port I noticed a difference in just a mile or two. It has smoothed out 95% of the rough shifting and seems to do what it says. Happy with purchase. Thanks.

My 2010 5.3 Chevy Silverado has always fouled #1 and #7 plug after long trips where the FMA shuts off those cylinders. Since I have plugged this unit in, I have not fouled another plug or used any oil to measure. So far so good. Should have done this long before now. Would have saved alot of hassles.

It works as advertised for the one day I've had it. I would never order again from this supplier as they use FedEx who lost my package for over a week, couldn't find my address and both the outside brown box and the item box looked like they were drop kicked numerous times!!!
