In search of a bit more snap...

Reviewed By Bruce W (PALMER, IA) Reviewed for a 1997 Ford F-350 —7/30/2009 3:58 PM

My 1997 F350 4X4 had plenty of power but the throttle response was sluggish. The JPM took care of that quite nicely, plus I picked up a solid 1.5 mpg. I now use 92 octane to eliminate a slight ping on 87/89. The module tripped the "check engine" light, but checks on a scanner showed the alert to be erroneous with all systems functioning properly. I recommend this upgrade.

Works as advertised

I just wish I could better tuck away the wire harness by the pedal. Other than that, not in the way and works great! I love the option to adjust my pedal sensitivity to my liking!

Difference noticeable

Reviewed By Donald S (LUVERNE, AL) Reviewed for a 2016 Nissan Titan XD —12/11/2017 8:14 PM

The power torque and horse power is very noticeable. The stock setting seems to add about an average of 6 mpg if drove at 60 mph, also with slow take off from a dead stop. Those averages go down slightly as I go through the spot and spot plus. Now as for the race setting, very powerful and noticeable from stock setting. Fuel mileage goes down to about 19 mpg. However, speed gain is very quick.
