"Havent had long enough for better review....looks like setting 1 is stock, 2 is economy. Can tell the safeguards in place with smoother shifting in tranny. Took to professional for install. So far, so good. I have 197k miles an plan to have alot longer." —Brad S from Garland, TX bought a Banks Six-Gun Tuner for a 2000 Ford F-250, 7.3L Power Stroke.

"I'm very pleased with the product. I haven't checked my fuel mileage yet,but just watching my fuel gauge it appears that my mileage is better. Installation of the product was very easy and I installed in a way that it may be removed without any tools. I intend to try some of their other products too. Jerry" —Jerry B from West Union, OH bought a Bully Dog Performance Chip - 6 Position 4 Bank for Ford for a 2000 Ford F-250, Automatic, 7.3L Powerstroke.

"Wow!!! Did this product ever wake my truck up. The only draw back is that I should've done this sooner. Pulling a 38ft 5th wheel camper like it's not even there." —Timothy S from Jay, ME bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2000 Ford F-250, 7.3L Powerstroke.

"as with all ford pick ups mine had a slow shift problem and you really coulnt feel any power until high rpm this chip did what it said it would, I liked the fact that it did improve shift firmness but I still belive the truck should have more power. I guess the only way to really get power out of a 5.4 is supercharging it." —Eddie C from Royse City, TX bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2000 Ford F-250, 5.4L V8.

"i am very happy with my programmer. the only problem i have ran into was the programmer just shut down. i had to un plug from the truck and then plug it back in, then it started again and has been ok since" —Peggy T from Clarksburg, WY bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2000 Ford F-250, 7.3L Power Stroke.

"I did not expect a profound transformation, but the horsepower increase in each of the settings seemed to be a bit overstated. The BEST feature was the ability to adjust the transmission shift points. The WORST limitation was the fact that the on-board MPG calculator of my truck went from marginal to totally inaccurate. Actual MPG performance (1-3 MPG) seemed to be largely due to better transmission shifting. The guage console was a very nice addition. Not sure how accurate the turbo boost readings are; engine runs great and revs quickly, but the boost measurement shows only a maximimum of 5-6 psi. Would not run my truck in the Extreme setting without changing the exhaust due to high EGT, but think the stock exhaust (3 1/2") is just fine in the Towing setting. Overall, was a good investment and wonder why something like this is not standard equipment." —Peter T from Mount Airy, NC bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2000 Ford F-250, 7.3L Power Stroke.

"Installation was simple, stated vehicle wasn't at factory settings. Went to the website and downloaded factory setting automatically and installed it on my truck. No problem since than. fuel mileage increase of about 3 to 4 miles per gallon (120-160 miles per tank). Pretty impressive at the lights in race and extreme setting. No economy setting, I guess because it's got a six speed standard tranny. Fuel milage a little lower in tow than it was when I towed my 5th wheel prior to instalation, but much better throtle response. VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE, just wish I could change on the fly. Factory looks intall with pod." —David B from Scottville, MI bought an Edge CS Evolution Programmer for a 2000 Ford F-250.

Check Engine Light On! What Do Those Codes Mean?

It was a chilly night in Montana, but crystal clear. I was standing next to my Honda, taking in the majesty of the great arc of the Milky Way. Using a cool app on my phone, I tracked the International Space Station and saw it fly above my head at 17,000 miles per hour. It’s […] The post Check Engine Light On!
