Perfect

Easy to put on. Didn't need any tweaks for my Honda Pilot. So much easier than lifting my golden and the tread and stability of the step made it easy for her to get comfortable with using it. Recommending it to all my friends! My only change would be adding a click stop at 45 degrees for tight areas as our garage is short and she seems to like the longer path from the side. But step is spacious and works well. A big investment compared to other steps but well worth it!!

Best purchase ever!

I have been looking for a ramp to use for my two labs which weigh about 100lbs each. I have a Subaru Crosstrek and was concerned about ramp storage after use since the vehicle is small. This hitch step may seem pricey but it is very sturdy and twists to store beneath the vehicle. There is no sandpaper or grate as the base is smooth. It took only a couple of times for the dogs to figure out how to use the step. I can't say enough about how wonderful the step has been.

Awesome

This step is amazing. My two 100 pound dogs love it and so do I because I no longer have to lift them in and out. The step is easy to install and operate.

Portable PET Twistep

So Simple it is brilliant. Well made quality product, but a little expensive. One suggestion is hitch is threaded for a 3/4" bolt and cannot get a locking receiver lock through the hole because.

The Answer!

One minute to install and it is the answer to the problem of older dogs accessing my RV. My only complaint is that it could use a thick band of white or yellow color to outline the edges. That would help my dog see it better at night from all angles.

Love this dog step

Our Labrador retrievers love this step and so do I. They had no trouble learning how to use it and it saves me time from having to unfold and then fold up the portable stool that I was using before. It was very easy to install. I wish there was a way to lock it on so no one could steal it.

Our dog loves it !!!! As long as we give him a treat.

The step is wonderful. It was easy to train our 7 year on. Only flaw was one of the holes wasn't drilled to the size of the screw so we weren't able to raise it as high. Otherwise a super way to get our 95lb retriever in the SUV.

2nd twiststep

1st twiststep was for my 2004 suburban, step hight perfect. Second twiststep for 2017 suburban, fit not as good, Step to high, lowered step to the max. Which just cleaned spare tire. 2017 Suburban body about 7 inches higher. My Second dog which is half the size of my German Shepherd cannot reach as well and needed to purchase dog ramp from same manufacturer as twiststep. Both quality Products.

Love my twistep

This step is a huge help with my 100 lb. GSD after surgery and having trouble getting in and out of the car. Easy to use, easy to install but when ordering, it was unclear that I'd need an extension for my larger SUV. It arrived quickly and once installed, it was great

Excellent...highly recommend!

Twistep dog hitch is very well made and appears quite durable. Although I've only it about a week, I am so far really pleased with it---very easy to install, solid and wide stepping surface with nice grip for doggie paws. Twists easily into place. My dogs got the hang of it easily, with the encouragement of biscuits. I love it!

Awesome!

This is exactly what I was looking for. Going from a minivan to a SUV. Wanted to make sure my dogs would still be able to easily get in and out of the vehicle on their own. This is perfect! they have caught on quickly. Installation was super easy and the product is high quality. Love it!

Older Goldens

This product is great! It took about ten minutes to install - directions are simple. Our two older Golden Retrievers have some trouble jumping into the back of our Jeep Grand Cherokee from the ground. We had our first (and only training session, and after about ten minutes and lots of crackers, they each figured out how to use the step to jump up into the car and out. Now they don't stress their legs/joints landing on the concrete driveway when they jump out. Excellent product.

Really Helpful

My puppy was hesitant to jump in and out of the back of my Jeep Wrangler. He is a "giant" dog breed and he was getting too heavy for me to pick up. Besides, giant breeds just don't like to jump very much anyway. The Twiststep was the perfect solution and he uses it without hesitation. I took one star off because I keep banging my shins on the step when it is in its "stored" position and I'm loading or unloading stuff out of the back. Annoying, yes, but it's worth it 'cuz it really helps my dog.

works Great and easy to use!

Exactly as described. Took only a few minutes to get dogs to use (best if you start on a lead or leash), 100 times easier for my dogs to get in back of big sequoia SUV. we have a heeler who is getting up there in age and a 160 lb mastiff, works great. They don't tend to use it getting out however. Also useful as stool and chair when camping.

Step for our Danes

As of right now our dogs are not use to using the step and has avoided the step in getting into our Honda Odyssey. We hope that they will get comfortable using the step. Also, with it installed, it is very low and will hit the ground if going over a bump. So it has to be taken off before driving. It is of good construction and sturdy.

Good Purchase

Product works great as intended. Only problem we have is it rubs the spare tire pretty hard when turning it underneath our Suburban. Might need some modifications. It works great with our Great Danes. They learned to use it quickly and it provides a nice stable platform.

great solution

Perfect for my older Lab. He can get into the SUV very easily with this step. Without it, he just can't jump like he used to. He took to it naturally after coaxing him the first time. Also, the step blends in with the back of my SUV so it is not noticeable but very handy when we need to use it. Easy and painless installation.

Life Saver

Our 8 yr old lab was easily trained and even seems excited to use it. We're so happy as we had just purchased a Ford Expedition and she was able to jump in an out but we knew it was very possible she may pull a ligament. We checked out all dog steps and ramps but you had to store them in the vehicle if you went somewhere and had to get the dog out. I finally came across your Twiststep and it is awesome. Easy to install. You need a hitch lock so it won't get stolen.

Dog Step

Great product. My dog recently started to hesitate then struggle getting into the SUV. The generous size platform is sturdy, works well and looks good. Once my dog became comfortable with the steps purpose she began using it as intended. You won't be disappointed and it might save your dog from getting hurt.
