July 2019 Featured Friday: Jason’s LLY Savage Sierra Build

By Mike Cote - August 2, 2019

The Story:

“Started with this truck completely stock with zero upgrades. It’s been transformed all by myself over time. From cosmetic appearances to the fully built engine and everything in the middle. This is my weekend toy and my pride and joy.”

It’s awesome starting with a blank canvas and completely recreating it into exactly what you want. Having built dirt bike motors growing up, I know motors take time, I’m afraid to even ask how many late nights and busted knuckles went into building your LLY Duramax in this one of a kind savage Sierra. You have an amazing build here Jason. Keep turning wrenches and enjoying your build.

Conclusion

Replace damaged or worn tires (before 2/32nds tread depth)

Replace tires that are older than 6 years old whether they have tread left or not.

Use the manufacturer’s recommended pressure and use the 10% rule to dial in the right pressure.

Happy trails.
