The lock was just what we needed to secure the contents in our rooftop carrier from theft. I slept better at night in the hotels knowing that opur belongings were safe and secure. Wouldn't take a trip without it.

I have only ha dit a short time and really haven't used it. I have played around with it a bit. I really like the fact that the line retracts into itself. I don't have to worry about the lock hitting the car and scratching it. Nice lock and I recommend it.

Used the lock in conjunction with my Surco Safari roof rack and Pack Right soft roof pack. It is a easy to use product and deters people from walking off with expensive equipment. Spent the weekend in Old Forge NY with my pack on my roof for hours on end without a problem. I even used the second lock to secure my bike in a public bike rack without a problem. Excellent product and priced right.
