After renovation and conversion of my IH ScoutII with a Spring Over Axel Lift and installing a Surco Safari Rack, I needed a means to load and unload the rack. I had a step device that you could hang on a rear tire, but the off-road tires were to wide. This ladder stows nicely in the cargo area and is immediately available to give access to the entire rack. Perfect Solution to a real need.

First I give Autoanything 5 stars, for customer service and deliver, they are top notch. Now to the Rhino-Rack Folding Ladder. First got it and looked great. Of course I knew I would need to adjust the ladder's anchoring point on the tire, different tire sizes. Here is where I ran into a problem. Whoever put the ladder together cross-threaded the nut on the bolt and had to replace it. After new bolt installed ladder works great and is secure.

What a well designed tool! A great way to get to the roof, without having to permanently mount a ladder. Very impressed with what Rhino-Rack has done.

Just what I was searching for!

I needed some kind of ladder to mount my kayak to the top of my SUV. I bring a small stand alone ladder to the lake but since the boat ramp is at an angle, my helper has to hold the ladder steady instead of helping me mount the kayaks. I knew there had to be a solution out there. I looked everywhere on the net. I looked at fire escape ladders, boat ladders, rope ladders and finally I found the Rhino-Rack Folding ladder. It's unbelievably sturdy and perfect for this task. Very safe, too.

Very fast delivery, very sturdy product, however I wish that it would extend all the way to the ground for more stability.

I use this with my Suburban, hooks right into the side rails and the fold out stabilizer sits right on the side step. Perfect for getting to the roof box and it folds up and fits underneath the second row seats. Exactly what I wanted.

The answer to your problems.

I lead weeklong car camping trips throught NC for teens in the summer. I have two SUV's with roof racks but not ladder. The Rhino-Rack is the answer to our problems solving our previous frustrations about loading and unloading group gear. The ladder is stout, yet light-weight, and fold nicely for storage when not in use. I'm also impressed with the stable connection of the ladder to the rack. This item get's two thumbs up. Enjoy. I know we will.
