This also fits myt Rola Vortex roof basket, although I had to fiddle with the mounting hardware a bit. It's on solid. I like being able to throw a padlock on too. Nice feature. The entire thing is made of heavy duty steel. The mounting hardware is covered by the tire and inaccessible from underneath. Any would be tire thief would have to steal my entire roof rack. I bought this because a full size spare doesn't fit in the boot of my car.

The ARB 2500 awning is long and heavy but fit well on my van using a Thule 53" aero blade rack and available ARB mounting brackets. I needed to buy lock nuts and washers for the 6 bolts that it comes with. I also used six of the Thule xsporter adapter t-bolts and extra M6x1.0 bolts and washers to mount it in the Thule Aero Blade T-channel. So far this setup is expensive but super solid. The 2500 is difficult to put up and down with one person but super easy with two people. Nice Quality.

protect my kayak nicely with the rubber buckle not scratching my car is a relief! Price was nice compared to amazon or rei.
