Our 1st trip with this carrier

Installation wasn't bad at all, but we did need to drill couple holes to accommodate roof rack on our Equinox. The carrier held a lot more than I thought it might & drove very nice with no sound. We did not drive through rain, but while parked we received a major downpour for about an hour straight and there wasn't a drop inside the carrier which was empty. This carrier really did the trick for us and I'm glad we did not opt for a much more expensive one. We get to try it out again in 2 weeks.

Easy to put together and use

No tools required to put it together and install it on our Toyota Rav4. Attaching the two parts of the carrier can be done alone but it is easier to have two people. As I am a short person I needed a step stool to secure it to the roof rack and load item. A tall person should have no problem loading without a step ladder. It appeared a little flimsy until I latched it up. I have not used it on the highway yet or had it rained on.

great carrier-easy installation

We fit a pack-and-play, 2 carseats, 3 squirtguns, beach towels, rafts, box of trains, and other miscellaneous toys. It freed up a lot of room in the van, making for a much more comfortable trip. Carrier was secure on the roof-racks (2009 Toyota Sienna). did not notice any extra noise or any shifting. We will definitely use again.

Rooftop Carrier

The price was impressive! After an easy assymbly, I took my new cartop carrier for a test run. At 80mph, I couldn't detect wind noise from the carrier. After 2 days all mounting hardware was still snugg. The 19 cu/ft capacity is exactly what I need. Again, the price is impressive! I made the rite choice!

Pro z cargo box review

So far I am very happy with this cargo container. No tools needed and everything went together very well. It looks good on top of my 2016 ram 3500 as well. I ended up shopping around for a while and glad I came across anything auto. All other products I looked into would have been almost $1300.00 and I got setup with anything auto for less than half that price...

Great for the price

Install was pretty easy and did not take very long. I think I may have spent about an hour and did it by myself. The quality is good but prabably a bit flimsier than the more expensive 'brand name' models but does the job and I loved the price.

locks hard

It is hard to get locked. One of the pegs for the brace that holds it open broke off on first use.

Cargo box

Flimsy. I fear it will blow of the top of my car in a heavy wind.

Good product for the money

Money well spent. We use it on my wife's Kia Sorento and put in the back of my truck. It would be nice if it was side load when on top of vehicle but for the price, can't complain. The lock on the back is hard to line up and actually latch but haven't had any other issues.

Nice cargo box

No complaints on this purchase so far. I'm writing this review 2 days before I leave on our vacation so I haven't had the opportunity to give it a good test yet. Installation was simple and I was able to do it myself. I'm sure another set of hands would have helped but still wasn't that bad. The box looks great on my Grand Cherokee, feels durable, and has a ton of cargo room inside. Unless this thing makes a ton of noise in transit, I see no reason to give this anything less than 5 stars.

So far so good!

Alot of space! Assembly was easy as well. I took the cargo carrier for a test spin on my Sante Fe and had no issues. The only small issue was that I had to drill new holes, the pre-drilled holes didn't line up with my cross bars.

Great product

Great product, but requires two people for assembly. Lightweight but sturdy and easy to get up on the roof of my Nissan Rogue. I did have to drill alternate holes in the bottom section to mount the box, but that was easy. All in all a great purchase for the price. I'm very satisfied.

Worth the money! 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan

It didn't fit, despite vehicle being listed - had to drill holes in the bottom to make the brackets fit the width top bars - but not too difficult. I have driven about 2,600 miles w/ it, through a downpour and everything survived unharmed (even with the extra holes in the bottom.) The side bars that hold up the top are NOT easy to put on and take off their bracket - and the top doesn't open very wide, so that's annoying, but it's still worth the price and it ultimately does the job!

New cargo box makes WDW trip

Used new Pro Z box for first time on WDW trip and was very pleased. You need extra set of hands to assemble top to bottom front hinge and latch. Was able to mount and secure box to vehicle and load two mid-size suitcases and two deluxe umbrella-style strollers by myself. Drove 1400 miles, in rain and sunshine without an issue...and it looks pretty sharp, too! Pretty happy with my new cargo box!

Wekk made

You literally need no tools to install this cargo box. It is bigger than any other I have seen on the road, yet it is stable riding on the roof. I don't plan on leaving it attached year round, only for travel and camping trips. The good news is that is as easy to take off as it was to install. It works for me.

The Carriet

It has excellent size. Very simple to put together. It is very light and easy to handle. I think it will do the job very well but seems a little flimsy.

Cargo Box mounted easily which allowed for six passengers in our Yukon while luggage was protected up above. Made the 2600 mile trip much more comfortable.
