I am pleased with my Yakima Cargo Bag. It is well made and easy to install. I am looking forward to my cross country trip with it.

The back cover came loose because of the wind after about 50 miles into my trip. The flapping caused the zippers to become unzipped and I lost one bag. I stopped at the nearest town and bought 4 long bungee cords-problem solved. The back cover needs hold down straps, not just velcro strips

I bought this roof bag to move cross country because I did not want to pay $500+ for a rack installed on top of my car. This fit my vehicle well and was secure on the bare roof. I noticed after the 3rd day of driving that the velcro on the flap that comes down and covers the zipper was ripping off of the bag. Overall the bag is still in usable condition but for only driving 2,200 miles and have that much wear was disappointing - however that is what you can expect when you're only spending ~$150

Really love the cargo bag! Holds a lot of stuff which I needed for my relocation from CA to VT. Had one day of bad weather in 5 days which was rain and discovered the bag leaked as the contents were moderately wet. Good thing for the lifetime warranty which I plan on pursuing.

It was a life saver having the extra space to haul our luggage. No problems with it. A couple times we pulled over because the traps were flapping, but it never got loose.
