I recently purchased a Yakima rack system. I didn't realize it didn't come with locks so I had to purchase a set of 4 SKS lock cores. I really think it's another way manufacturers nickel and dime you to death. :) Overall, the locks were easy to install and work well.

I bought a Chevy Bolt electric vehicle to use as my main vehicle, so as a paddler I needed roof racks. Having had Yakima round bars & towers on all my other vehicles (after a succession of square-bar racks), I stayed with those. I bet the Corebar elliptical bars wouldn't whistle as much as the Round bars do when not loaded*, but the Round Bars (+4 roundbar adapters), Skyline towers, #19 Landing Pads, & Lock Cores work well. *Note: Bolt's low height of the bars doesn't allow using a fairing.

It would be nice to be able to buy 10 at a better price. Plan on having bike and kayak racks. Will need cores for them. 3 keys 10 cores maybe $80-100
