The best thing I ever did. Always get a spare.

Great filter! Noticed about 1 MPG increase over stock filter. Don't know if it's K&N or if my 18 month old filter just needed replaced. Will say that he K&N is thinner than stock and seems less restrictive. Only regret is that I kind of wish that I just went with the intake system instead. No increase in engine sound from this at all. Heard reviews saying intake was too loud and some suggested an actual decrease in acceleration, so I decided to go with this instead.

I now have aFe Pro-Dry filters in both my cars and have been really satisfied with them. The fit and finish is great and the materials feel premium. I also got the cleaning kit to make them last the life of the car. I prefer the dry filter than oiled ones as I've had issues with oiled filters (from other brands) clogging air flow sensors.
