The way it's made is a duck weave or medium weight canvas on top to take dog traffic and a very playable plastic on the underneath side to catch liquid accidents. Very sturdy grommets for the attaching straps to anchor too the front and back headrest. Great great value $$.

Tried multiple pet seat covers in my 2003 Ford Explorer in the past. Always disappointed.. until now. While the Kurgo doesn't fit like it's made for this specific vehicle.. it fits damn well. It slipped over the seat and headrest with ease and once on doesn't move around. It was a little hard connecting the under-seat web and snap buckle due to the electronics under the seat, but I got it done. Quality is better than expected. Sturdy, substantial, washable.
