Wet Okole Neoprene Seat Covers Reviews

Great looking seat covers

Reviewed By Brad M (Waukee, IA) Reviewed for a 2012 Subaru Outback —3/13/2012 8:26 PM

I looked at leatherette and other fabric and neoprene and made a middle of the road decision to go with neoprene from Wet Okole. I actually called in and talked to a salesperson because at the time I could not tell if the Wet Okoles had a fit for the '12. I ended up talking to a Subaru mechanic who assured me there was no difference between the '11 and '12 for the interior seating. Thus assured, I placed the order for front and back seats(adding in map pockets for the front seats) and paid my $$. The covers arrived last week and I took time this past weekend to get them on. I had read other reviews and some said it was easy and some said difficult, so I gave myself a good cushion of time. Short story. They are on and look great, there is even a cover for the seat reclining lever! Bonus: my seat warmers work through the neoprene too! Thank you AutoAnything and Wet Okole. I have the confidence to carry children and canines and to heck with my OCD about messes in the car. ;-) Now the long story. Perhaps others are more handy than I, but putting these on the front seats was a bear! Getting the cinch ties under the cushion(in between the plastic) was very challenging. Wet Okole has videos that give a general idea, but no detail about how to thread those ties down and under and through the underside of the seat assembly(or if they did, I could not find them). Especially, the motorized driver's side on mine. I would have appreciated a more specialized set of video instruction for sure. Ultimately, I made it work and they are on good and tight and I do not think I will have any issues with seat movement or cover slippage. I just wonder how someone with regular to large size man-hands would accomplish this contortionist trick. My hands are average at best(go ahead insert joke here), and I was hard pressed to get to where I could snag the ties and thread them around. The front seat backs were more manageable, albeit still tough. The head rests were very easy and the back seat went much more smoothly. The rear bench do

Coverking Hawaiian Neoprene Seat Covers Reviews

Really nice seat covers, but armrest cover doesn't fit very well

Reviewed By Erik H (Round Lake Beach, IL) Reviewed for a 2013 Subaru Outback —10/28/2013 12:26 PM

Putting them on was not that big a problem. Put the strap through the gap in the seatback and seat pan and match with the hook from the front of the seat cover. Put the hooks together and pull tight. It does help to have a flexible claw pick up tool to pull the straps through. Had them in over a month, and have not budged an inch. Armrest cover fits, but I was unable to get the armrest closed with it on, so I am not using it. If it fit I would give them 5 stars.
