Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Covers Reviews

Luv my Wheelskins

This is a great product. I have gotten an older car that the plastic steering had cracked and seperated in several places. I was thinking replacing the steering wheel I came across the Wheelskins ad. Ordered one put it on in about an hour and was very very satisfied with the look, feel and cost. You can't tell there is a crack in the wheel anywhere. I read some of the reviews which was very helpful. One thing that I did do that was extremely helpful was that I used a small pair of needlenose pliers to push the needle in and pull it out instead of a thimble or some other method. It would be very helpful the company furnished a little more cord ( I barely had enough ) and an extra needle ( I broke one ). But other than that I could not be happier. Thanks

Fits Great

Prior to making my purchase I had read the reviews regarding the strong vinyl smell. It was pretty strong right out of the package. I took mine out and let it sit outside for a couple days and it's just fine. Sitting in my parking lot at work all day, hot days at that, and there is no residual smell inside. Feels great as well. Like others said the best way to get these on is to let sit out in the sun or a warm area for a bit to soften up.
