Daystar lift kit

After installing the Daystar 2.5" lift kit my F-350 rode better than stock, and the price was better than reasonable. Thank you Autoanything.com

Daystar lift review

Pretty easy install. I put both ends on. Ride is stiffer but does allows for bigger wheels and tires witch is what i needed.

2006 KIA Sorento.

Good product. Easy install for me. If you drive a KIA Sorento that this lift will fit be prepared for a difficult front install. They send step by step paper instructions. They help. But a link to a video would be great service. Over all I am happy with the fit and look. I tried to do a video on the install but was by myself and it just wasn't possible. Thanks DayStar.

Lifted but didn't level the truck

The kit is good quality easy to install. The end result after installing was not what expected truck doesn't set level. Disappointed. Should have just lifted 1" on the rear not 2" lift. Truck set with a rack from back to front.

Daystar 2" Lift kit

The kit itself is quite simple and in the end the ride is nice and looks good; however the u-bolts were a half inch too short and the knobs on on the blocks were too tall as I had to grind them down partially for a balanced fit. The U-bolts I found out in town for and extra $40 for the 4 of them. Not happy about that.

2011 Xterra 2" lift kit.

Kit provides a nice 2" lift. Shackles and spacer are good quality. Shackle grommets do not seem to allow quite enough grease to penetrate and will make noise when the rear suspension moves more than normal (ex. entering and exiting a driveway at a slight angle). It's nice having zerk fittings to grease the shackles, however I'm frustrated that the zerk fittings are pressed in, not screwed in. Two of them pulled out while greasing. Installed screw in zerk fittings (drilled & tapped the hole).

For the price it is great!

I got a great deal with anything auto for this product. I had it installed at a auto shop. Looks great and rides smooth. Make sure you get your alignment done after install because it will be out.

Not easly installed

I installed the rear in no time. The front was a different story. Doing it as the directions is not the easiest to do. Plus it will put your alignment out so bad it's almost not Drivable. After the first front side was installed per the directions. I decided to do it differently on the other. Which made it much easier and quicker. Plan for a day to install (6-7 hours) unless you have a lift and fully stocked garage. Once installed it did give my 2013 tundra the look I was looking for.

Good Value for the Money.

This is my fourth Daystar lift and I've been happy with all of them. You get the best of both worlds! I got the look (amount of lift) without losing my factory ride.

Lift Kit Gounded

I wanted to give my pickup a little pick up so I ordered the Daystar 2" lift kit. I knew the rear axle would be relatively ez so I started with the front. After spending a couple hours getting the spacer ring installed on the strut assembly to give the lift, it stretched the distance for the upper ball joint arms and torsion bar too far to comfortably reassemble those parts. It looks good but I don't believe it works right with these parts for the front axle. Sorry, I'm returning this kit.

A solid and economical way to gain 2.5" of ground clearance

We are very please with this product. The quality of the components seemed good and even included a small tube of thread locker. The instructions were excellent. Our Sorento is a diesel model but the kit worked fine. Installation was not such a small project. We had it done at our local Goodyear dealer. The excellent young mechanic started at 8:00am and finished at about 2:30pm. Living in the Philippines has it's advantages. The cost was about $26 for labor.

Lift kit installation

Instructions were very thorough and easy to understand. My only suggestion would be to add another step- remove the outer tie rod end from the spindle, just as you did the ball joint. That makes the job a whole lot easier, just don't let the CV joint separate.

inexpensive 2-1/2"

For my Armada, installing the rear coil spacers were much more time consuming than the front strut spacers. (having to deal with the spring compressor, and the fact I had a few bolts practically fused in place) Even with everything disconnected and unlike what the instructions said, I still had to compress the crap out of those coils to get them out and compress even more to get them back in. In the end, it doesnt make the vehicle huge (nor should it), but does help it stand out a little more.

Great 2" lift kit and very simple to install. I would recommend to have applicable shocks and struts available with the lift kit as a package offer.
