A great improvement in the ride, cornering and stability when braking hard. The 4 stars for installation was because I had them installed by a mechanic. I'm a senior citizen and their just what I wanted for my 4 wheeler.

My 2003 jeep wrangler is still at the meineke shop as it needs rust treatment, alighnment, etc. And when I asked the owner if he would put these in for me, he said yes and when he saw the brand, he said wow these are good brand! And when I told him I paid about $150 w/free shipping and using ebates, he was even further impressed. Cost of total installation is $200! I have not had the chance to drive my jeep yet as still needs work. Donna Estephan

Went right on a 04 TJ, rear shocks very easy with a 14" 3/8 extension, straight socket, impact and car ramps. Front shocks a little harder. Make sure you use penetrating oil on the all bolts About 30 minutes prior to removal. I used a small arbor press to push bushings in coated in synthetic oil which popped right in. Over all about 3hrs labor with the right equipment. Shocks ride very smooth jeep does not bottom out front or rear anymore. A+ for shocks.

The shocks shipped quickly and were easy to put on. I had to grind the bushing on the bottom rears to fit, and I wish they came with mounting bolts, but overall everything went smooth. I put them on without having to remove my wheels.

I really like these shocks. They are well made and ride well. The only problems that I had were securing the red boots on them. And of course removing the old shocks!(not skyjackers)Autoanything has great prices and quality items.

I got theserved shocks for my 2003 jeep wj. For the price you can't beat them. The installation was a breeze once the bolts came off! I would recommend putting penetrating oil on the bolts a few days before to make your life easier. Only thing is that I wish the shocks came with new bolts.
