I installed these shocks in rear only. Existing Monroe reflex were to soft and allowed to much sway. The highest setting works perfect. The only aspect I don't like is its not clear what setting you on in between low and high. Even rides nice as the truck is heavy.

I love my Silverado 2500 HD but the ride has always been very stiff. I have a very bad back but I need the 3/4 ton with a Duramax for towing my camper. I have set the RS9000XL shocks at 4 for every day. It is very tolerable now. I'll try 6 for towing. They were easy to install although it took me two days to install because of my back. If I had a lift it probably would have only taken about 2 hours or so. It takes about 90 seconds to reset all 4.

After many years Rancho has yet to improve the plastic adjustment knob. Be prepared to replace the adjustment knob periodically. There are a variety of ways to lube the plastic knob setup, I don't have enough time to say whether it works over the long term (e.g. 3-5 years). Regardless of the flaw, when it works there no other shock I'd choose for my '08 Ram Quad Cab 1500.

I put the shocks and struts on my 06 Ram 1500 at 92k miles and its day and night from the stock ride. Rides better than my 2014 durango! I have them on setting 5 and had to get them installed. Would definitely recommend these.
