Works great for my 2002 F-250

I couldn't believe the difference they made! Night and day difference, smooth over rough roads, off road is more comfortable, pulling my 21' boat feels safer that the original shocks on my truck. Seems to be well built, Auto Anything helped direct me to what I needed.

Improved Ride Quality ,better than stock shocks

The Bilstein shocks are performing as exceptionally well. Replaced my worn Rancho shocks for a full set of Bilstein 5100's in front and rear. Just drove 1100 mile from PA to Fl through the gauntlet of I-95 and I can honestly attest that ride quality is much better, smoother, and handles bumps and potholes way better than the stock rancho shocks. This purchase is definitely money well spent.

Great Shocks

Removal of the old shocks was a pain (which they always are), but installation of these were perfect. My F-350 Diesel rides like new again.

2015 F250 CC

Awesome. I have read where the stock ranch s were trash, and they are. 45k Miles and the fronts were wasted. What a big difference in the ride. I installed them without removing any tires. Just turned the wheels for the front. While your at it definitely change the steering stabilizer as well...You wont be sorry

Installing Bilstein 5100 series shocks

I have a 2002 F 350 7.3, 4 x 4, lariat, LWB, crew cab, dually, and got no instructions on installing these shocks. Being old school I put the rear on I believe is the correct way (rubber boot up). When I tried to put the front on the same BUT they seem like they would not fit correctly so I turn them upside down (rubber boot down). That definitely look wrong. But after talking to 3 of your techs (one said boot up and 2 said down) I went with the 2 and put boot down. LOOKS FUNNY

What a difference!

My 2008 Ford F-250 XLT 4X4 has 75K very well maintained miles. While changing front brakes, I determined the shocks needed replacing. Bilsteins carry some of the highest ratings (you get what you pay for) so that's what I ordered. They came in fast. Pulling the old shocks, I found them totally trashed - my driving compensated as the ride deteriorated. First ride after the Bilsteins went on - it was better than I remember the first day I drove the truck home. Recommendation: absolutely yes!

Review of F-350 Bilstein shocks

Just installed the Bilsteins on my 2005 F-350 crew cab DRW 4X4 FX4. The Ranchos that came from the factory did OK but I was AMAZED at the difference the Bilsteins made, especially on the back! I read all the reviews about other trucks like mine and was skeptical but now I believe!!

Bilstein 5100 Shocks

Excellent product with fast shipping. Fit perfectly on the rear of my F250 and are good replacements for my ten year old Rancho OEM shocks.

Worth the time and money

ng Took the Ranchos off that came from the factory after 170000 miles. Great improvement in ride ad handling should have done it along time ago

Rock is gone

Just put on the rear and it took the rock from side to side on our rough roads. Also it now corners like it is on rails, no body lean as it was with the factory shocks. Firmer ride but a lot better.

The Bilstein 5100 shocks really improved the ride

Unlike my previous F250, I had never been pleased with the ride on my new F350 but chalked it up to just being a heavier duty truck. However, I read so many good reviews about these shocks that I decided to go ahead and replace the factory shocks even though I had only had 5000 miles on the truck. I am very glad that I did. The ride is so much improved... road imperfections and bumps are much more muted now.

2005 F-250 PS-CC-LB.Improved ride from 5100 Series shocks.

I bought these based on the number of good reviews from this site. They arrived very quickly and the install took 2 hours. The difference in ride quality was immediately noticeable! The front shocks are valved perfectly for the front spring rate. I have more control over the front on bumps and on smooth pavement it's downright luxurious. The rear shocks were also a big improvement over the FX4 kit. Maybe a little more rebound control on the rear would make them perfect, but these are great!

Outstanding Performance

I removed the stock Rancho shocks and installed these Bilatein shocks. I pull a 4 horse trailer with small living quarters and it rode amazing. It accepted the load with no issue. I am very happy with my new shocks.

Bilstien 5100 shocks

I replaced my worn out (in 35,000 miles) Roncho shocks. The ride is noticeably smoother and no more death wobble. Awesome!

Beats the poor excuse for OEM "Rancho" shocks. Shame on FORD.

The 5100 Series is well worth the money. Easy install and enhances the ride quality. If you are on the fence, I encourage you to purchase. You will not be disappointed.

Bilstein review

The ride is great, compared to the fake Ranchos that come on the FX4 2011 Super Duty. Price was okay, I guess. Very PLAIN looking. Black rubber and I guess stainless steel body, sure could use a good logo instead of the cheapo stupid stickers that are now in the trash can.

A must upgrade for the 2011 Ford Superduy

The 2011 Ford Superduty pickups come with very poor stock Rancho shocks. I purchased a complete set of Bilstein 5100 series shocks for my 2011 Superduty.....it's like night and day when it come the difference in ride quality. I cannot say enough...I'am very satified with the Bilstein 5100 series shocks.....Once again this upgrade is a must...
