To start with, I let my old shocks stay on my 03 Durango far too long. Since they were on the vehicle for almost 200,000 . One of the front shocks was completely non functioning, Anyway, these Gabriel Ultra shocks are one of the best things I have done for the maintenance of this vehicle. The ride now is amazing. As you can imagine when I hit any kind of bump the vehicle would jump up and down several times before finally leveling out, now it just stays put and the cornering now is wonderful.

Huge difference

I had Monroe sensa track and they were garbage. The Gabriel's made a huge difference in ride and stability.

Expecting a bit more

After much research regarding the Gabriel brand shocks, I could not find any negative reviews. The addition of the rebate and the price match from AutoAnything solidified the deal. The shocks were quite easy to replace on my 2003 Dodge Durango 2wd. However, I feel that they are not as "beefy" as I was hoping or anticipating. I expected a much more smoother ride than I was used to with factory shocks at 83,000 miles. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been.

I was not impressed at first by the looks smaller than stock shocks. But after test drive was impressed with the handling and performance of this small packaged shock. Was so pleased i bought shocks for the rear. Best investment i made for the price. Highly recomended.
