Use to run Rancho 30 years ago on lifted trucks. Needed shocks for my 2 wheel drive suburban and went with Rancho once again. Glad I did. Nice ride and they haven't lessened any quality.

I had put on a competitors shock 5 years ago (only 15K miles) only to find that they were shot this summer. They had lived an easy life, so I was very surprised. So, after a bit of research, the Rancho RS5000X was an easy choice. Coupled with the current rebate, it was a no-brainer. The old truck rides like new. No more bouncing and highway sway. A serious improvement.

I order these for my 2006 silverado 1500 after installation truck sat up well but was bouncy on the road called service they promptly replied and sent a new pair of the front shocks, which I installed today with no improvement. If you are looking to improve your ride these shocks are not strong enough for the Silverado. I'm going to try and get an upgraded one from the manufacturer.

I Put these on my 2006 GMC Sierra 3500. I pull a 37' Fifth wheel, although it does not ride like a Cadillac, it really smoothed out the ride of my truck a ton

The Rancho shock make for a stiffer ride then OM shocks. but they sure help stop the harsh reaction when going over a bridge with expansion groves.replace OM at 48894 mi.
